CIMIC OPERATORS INAUGURATE A PLAYGROUND TO BENEFIT AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Niger, April 2023.

CIMIC Operators deployed as part of the civil-military cooperation projects that the Italian contingent conducts in support of the MISIN mission (Bilateral Support Mission in the Republic of Niger) delivered a new playground at the "Kouado II" elementary school in the municipality of Niamey. In addition to the presence of the MISIN Commander, the event was attended by important local political and institutional figures, including the Mayor of Niamey, the Director of the Department of National Education, and other public officials. During the ceremony, the Mayor expressed his gratitude to MISIN for its activities in favor of schools in the municipality, stressing the importance of cooperation between the people of Niamey and the international mission. Finally, the Mission Commander highlighted the importance of collaborative activities with Niger institutions, especially those aimed at supporting the younger generation.
