ABOUT MNCG

Multinational CIMIC Group is the NATO CIMIC specialized unit, projected for the civil-military cooperation at tactical and operational level. MNCG HQ can be tasked by SACEUR with Collective Defense Operations under Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty and Crisis Response Operations under non-Article 5 in support of peace and international security.

MNCG is envisaged to engage in the civil and military cooperation sphere giving full support to the NATO military Commanders. Furthermore MNCG provides a wide range of NATO basic CIMIC courses and is the venue for expertise and consultancy on civil-military cooperation at tactical and operational level, constantly in contact with different stakeholders such as Governmental Organizations(GOs), Non-Governmental' Organizations (NGOs), international Organizations (lOs) and Host Nation Authorities.
