COMMANDER’S END-OF-YEAR MESSAGE

Over the course of the year, the Multinational CIMIC Group has operated within an international environment characterised by increasing strategic and operational complexity. In this context, MNCG has continued to be actively present in key forums, seminars and workshops dedicated to Civil-Military Cooperation, contributing to discussions and working engagements at the Euro-Atlantic level and beyond, including events in the Asian region.

These occasions were not mere representational activities, but concrete opportunities to contribute to operational and doctrinal dialogue, to share experience gained in the field, and to absorb elements relevant to the ongoing evolution of the CIMIC function. MNCG’s presence in such qualified settings reflects the value of a deployable Command capable of integrating planning, training and operational employment.

Our credibility is grounded in the ability to translate strategic guidance and concepts into applicable procedures, tested and validated in realistic environments, while maintaining constant alignment with the requirements of the Alliance. This result is made possible by the contribution of the Nations that compose the Multinational CIMIC Group, whose daily cooperation—based on trust, professionalism and shared responsibility—acts as a force multiplier and a distinctive element of the Command.

As the Christmas holidays approach, I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the military and civilian personnel of the MNCG for the professionalism, commitment and sense of responsibility demonstrated throughout the year. The work accomplished provides a solid foundation upon which to continue building.

Looking ahead, the MNCG will continue along this path, further strengthening the integration between planning, training and operational employment, in order to ensure a CIMIC function that remains ready, coherent and fully aligned with the needs of the North Atlantic Alliance.
