MNCG COMMANDER AND PARTNER NATIONS MEET LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVES
On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, and in keeping with a long-standing tradition, the Commander of the Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG), accompanied by the Senior National Representatives of the Nations contributing to the multinational Command, met with local Authorities, institutional stakeholders, and representatives of the productive and social sectors at the “Mario Fiore” Barracks.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the six Nations that form the Multinational CIMIC Group: Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia, underscoring the truly multinational character of the Unit and the importance attached to engagement with the host territory.
The encounter provided an opportunity to exchange end-of-year greetings and to reaffirm the importance of civil-military cooperation as a key enabler in strengthening the local social, economic, and institutional fabric.
Discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, with particular attention given to cooperation between civil and military institutions, local stakeholders, and the productive sector as a fundamental element in building relationships based on trust and shared values.
The MNCG Commander expressed his appreciation for the continued support and cooperation shown by all participants towards the personnel of the Unit, highlighting how constructive dialogue with civilian counterparts represents an added value, especially during a period traditionally dedicated to reflection, cohesion, and solidarity.
The initiative forms part of a well-established tradition and confirms the Multinational CIMIC Group’s commitment not only to its operational dimension, but also to its human and societal engagement, in line with the principles guiding CIMIC activities at national and multinational level.
MNCG is leading the way on civil-military cooperation.
