MNCG Operators coordinated an important activity to support nedeed persons

Djibuti, March, 2022.
In recent weeks, the staff of the CIMIC cell of the Italian Military Support Base (BMIS) in Djibouti coordinated a donation activity in favor of the local diocese. In the presence of Reverend Giorgio Bertin, Bishop of the Diocese, the donation of over 41,000 personal protection equipment, received from the Association for Cooperation and Humanitarian Support, was held. The goal of the project is to equip the neediest among the local population with devices to reduce the infection from Covid-19 which, unfortunately, has fed many victims in a precarious health and hygiene situation even before the pandemic period.
