MNCG: PROFESSIONAL BONDS IN THE SPIRIT OF THE ALLIANCE
Colonel Mattia Zuzzi payed a visit to Romanian and Hellenic CIMIC Units
Motta di Livenza, October, 2021.
In recent days, Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) Commander, Colonel Mattia Zuzzi, accompanied by an international delegation, payed a visit to the Romanian first CIMIC Battalion and to the Hellenic CIMIC Company Headquarters.
In fact, Romania and Greece are two participating nations (PNs) of the MNCG and the collaboration between the nations is always very intense, not only in the exercise-training field, but also from the point of view of operational readiness, through NATO Response Force (NRF).
The objective of the two visits was therefore to find greater integration between the parties for future projects and civil-military cooperation activities, including training through Mobile Training Teams in favor of the two PNs and the educational part, through a mutual support in the respective didactic offers.
These two visits enhanced the ties amongst the nations and confirmed the willingness of all the stakeholders to continue pursuing the civil-military cooperation objectives in the spirit of the Alliance. Actually NATO Allies hold forces at appropriate levels of readiness to provide SACEUR with the capability, capacity and flexibility needed to respond effectively to threats to Alliance territory, citizens and interests wherever they occur.
