FROM MOTTA TO JAKARTA, VIA LEBANON

Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) specialists delivered Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) induction training for the Indonesian Armed Forces.

In recent weeks CIMIC operators, working in Naqoura as UNIFIL staff and MNCG instructors from Motta di Livenza, have delivered CIMIC lessons on the “Liaison, Meeting and Assessment” concepts. The aim of the lectures was to give a pre-deployment training for the Indonesian contingent that ends its HOTO within January 2021. The crash course improves the effectiveness and competence of Indonesian contingent in liaisoning with the South Lebanon civil dimension.
The training activities took place in e-learning mode with web links between Motta and Jakarta, with a difference of +6 GMT. The activity showed the close ties between MNCG and the Indonesian Armed Forces with which Motta's CIMIC operators simultaneously work for the UNIFIL mission at the Naqoura base.
Unity of purposes is a real goal to enhance the effectiveness in support of South of Lebanon security and stability to develop the three CIMIC core functions.
