Cimic Face CBRN Attack
La Comina (PN), 2019, nov 28.
The exercise conducted from 25 to 28 November 2019 and named “Contaminated Survival” is over. The aim of the exercise was to test the CIMIC operators working in a non-permissive environment, in order to train them to be ready in facing any kind of threats. In fact the scenario was simulated taking into account the actual area of operations in which the CIMIC operators, working in the “Mario Fiore” barracks, are deployed. In particular the simulated scenario was focused on the Chemical, Bacteriological, Radiological and Nuclear threats.
CIMIC operators have been also tested in role-players and assessments activities in the light of a real output and a tangible distress situation. The CIMIC operators’ training is planned to be 360 degrees oriented in order to work in line with the NATO Comprehensive Approach concept.
The exercise was part of a complex and integrated training plan, organized and conducted with the aim to prepare Multinational CIMIC Group soldiers to any kind of operation.
